The Volkswagen Golf 2013 one of the finest cars of the year

With this year drawing to a close officially from midnight tonight, we thought it would be a great idea to run through one of the finest models of vehicle that has been released this year, which we believe to come in the form of the latest Volkswagen Golf released by the ever growing German manufacturer. Over the years Volkswagen have released some truly magnificent machines, which included the likes of the, Polo, beetle and many more, but perhaps none bigger than Golf over recent memory. The latest model from the brand which launched earlier this year, was voted as car of the world for this year alone, and has provided a truly great driving experience for consumers around the world that rivals the likes of the, Ford Focus, and other similar models from German rival BMW, we think that this model has been something special above all the opposition.

What made the latest Golf a truly great car

There is much reason, that one this years addition's from top German seller VW, has been defined as one of the best cars of the 2013 period, mainly we think for its power abilities, comfort and indeed it's great driving experience. But what went into the car during it's long production process, that made it something special ? . Well firstly the brand included the use of a choice of either a 2.0 TDI diesel engine, or a much similar engine which came in petrol format. The choices are optional as well such as the choice of either an estate model of the car, or a sportier class model. The car came complete with a 5.8 inch color touch screen,wireless blue tooth connectivity and 16 inch alloy wheels as standard. A new front grille was fitted as well, designed to increase air takes, to allow a much more smoother and finely tuned driving experience. As for the interior of latest Golf, the dashboard came in a wrap around shape. IPod connectivity and cruise control where also a brilliant feature of the model, we think helped to boost it's sales overall. A brand new cylinder head and pistons were also included during the manufacturing process of the vehicle, and were well received and loved by testers and customers alike. This allowed the petrol engine version of the car to carry 296 units of brake horse power, which overall, was 30 more than its predecessor. Optional features did not lack when it came to the German car of the year, with its optional steering wheel mounted gear paddles and a high performance package to choose from upon purchase of the model. There was just so much loved about this range in the vehicle line up from Volkswagen, we have not heard a bad word said about it.

So what does the future look like for Volkswagen and the Golf ?

Well with the amount of success the 2013 model has achieved, it has been made official by the German based company that throughout the course of the next upcoming year, possibly into 2015, a new updated model of the Golf will be manufactured and will look forward to a release to the global car consuming market around the world.
