Obama has an embarrassing moment in Israel.

The presidency of Barack Obama had an embarrassing moment in Israel last week when his armoured limousine, famously nicknamed the ‘Beast’ was accidently given petrol instead of diesel in Israel.

The Limousine was stationed at the Presidents hotel in Tel Aviv when the driver made the embarrassing mistake. The vehicle was due to pick up the president at Ben Gurion airport the same day. It is not known if the driver is still in his job. The 18 foot Chevrolet was shipped in from Washington DC along with other vehicles to cater for Obama’s 600 staff entourage.
 
A spokesperson for the US Secret Service said “One of our protective vehicles experienced mechanical problems in Israel earlier today. This is why we bring multiple vehicles and a mechanic on all trips. Situations like this are planned for extensively by our advance teams so that the President's itinerary is unaffected by these types of issues”.
