Kia Nissan Juke Rival

There have been teaser images released of a new Kia compact SUV concept vehicle, ahead of it's official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The company confirmed that it will unveil a rival for the Nissan Juke at the motor show next month and teaser images that have been released across the internet give some idea of how it is shaping up. 

Internally the new concept is known as the KED-10, which stands for Kia European Design and the 10th concept that has come out of the European Design studio, the KED-10 is extremely similar to the Kia GT concept, which was unleashed in 2012 at the Detroit Motor Show and appears to feature ice-block LED lights, like the Kia Pro-Cee'd GT. 

Not like the recent Provo Coupe and Cub hatchback concepts, the KED-10 features a lot more ground clearance. A double bubble roof is only just visible aswell, whilst the interior is rather sparse, there is a single piece that has been moulded for the centre console and front seats. 

There is a lot of competition among hatchbacks at the moment, with the Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur and Nissan Juke all fighting it out within the booming segment. So whilst a production version is more or less a certainty. Kia is also playing it's cards extemely close to it's chest, claiming that there are actually no plans to put the car into production as of yet, though Frankfurt will be used to get an idea about the reaction of the public.
