Classic car from Caterham owns the roads

In some news today coming directly out of the car industry, the classic car industry to be specific, we are excited to report on the latest news regarding the well known and loved classic car brand that have now also, broke into the motorbike business, which comes in the form of the, Caterham 160. The vehicle itself, comes in that retro classic look, that classic vehicle enthusiasts will know and love from the brand and comes in a light blue color, with an open top, although not ideal for the current weather we are currently seeing here in the United Kingdom, but we do believe the vehicle could be great for those long summer days out.

What's gone into the Caterham 160 during production ?

In terms of the manufacturing process on this particular vehicle, we believe that the standout feature is the power and performance handling this car benefits from, although if you're not a fan of the classic car look, this vehicle will not be for you. But for you retro drivers out there, we think that this particular model, is worth checking out. So what has been done to this classic racer during its time on the production line ? . Well firstly we see the welcome addition of a, 660cc, three cylinder turbo engine, which all in all will carry a grand total of,80 units of brake horse power.

In terms of top speeds we see this car hitting 100 miles per hour with a time of just, 6.5 seconds to reach 62 miles per hour from a complete standstill. Some of the better features of this model physically we believe to be, the steel wheels and adjustable seats that come complete as standard. There is however the option of having a roof and larger doors being included ahead of the time of purchase on your model, but these optional additions will add a bit of a larger cost to the original price tag. The engine itself that has been used in the car, is direct from Suzuki. Although compared to the cars of this day and age, this particular model is hardly a rival for the likes of Mercedes or BMW, but for any retro fans, this could be the vehicle for you.
