Today with a look into the current motorbike market in the United Kingdom and across other various places world wide, we take a look into a classic motorbike which is sadly not in production anymore but certainly left it's mark on the motorbike world...the XV535 Virago. This bike came courtesy of Japanese bike firm Yamaha and was originally introduced onto the market back in 1988. Production for this range ended ten years ago now but it could very well go down as one of the finest cruiser models that Yamaha ever produced. This model was the very first cruiser that Yamaha ever released and was given a great reputation for being excellent for first time buyers or even veterans of the motorbike industry. It certainly went down as one of the very best cruisers available on the market and certainly stood up to the likes of the Harley Davidson brand.

Japanese brand Toyota have officially put production of their vehicles in India to a halt. There was a dispute of wages paid for staff in the two factories that currently reside in India which left the brand no other alternative than to stop production for now altogether. The two factories are located just outside of Bangalore and around 700 vehicles from Toyota are produced there on a daily basis. Altogether we see that 6,400 member of staff will be affected by this 'lockout' as they are stating it to be. It has been stated that Toyota bosses were concerned over the health and well being of their workers in the two Indian factories as supervisors were being threatened and abuse of staff had a big role to play in the final decision.

The Japanese car and motorbike firm Honda are one of the worlds finest when it comes to the car industry. Over the recent years we have seen them make it big on the new and second hand car markets with vehicles such as the Civic and the Jazz amongst many more. The factory they have in Swindon here in the UK is one of the UK plants that design these two specific vehicles but production could drastically be cut for these models at the Swindon plant over the course of the next year. It has been confirmed sadly that job cuts are set to take place at the factory which could potentially mean a loss of around 500 jobs.
