Today we cast our attention to the German manufacturer Audi and the grand launch of their all new Q5 2.0 Diesel model which officially goes on sale from the Summer time of 2015. The Audi brand have proven to be one of the most successful car companies in the world for the past 105 years since they were founded in 1909. Over the course of time we have seen them introduce many great selling models which have proven to be some of the most wanted cars around the world. Some of these big sellers for the company have included the likes of the TT and the S1 amongst many more, so what new features find their way into this particular model that could help it stand out and make an impact on the car market when it launches next Summer ?.
The engine and performance rates of the Audi Q5 2.0 Diesel
So if we take a look at what this car is expected to do when it is launched onto our roads, we see that this car will come fully fitted with a 2.0 litre, four cylinder,turbo diesel engine which well help the car produce a grand total of 187 brake horse power and will therefore make the car capable of hitting an all round total top speed of 130 miles per hour. 8.4 seconds is the time in which this car will make the sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour and this is helped along by a seven speed,S tronic transmission system. You will also be pleased to know that the Q5 2.0 diesel will come as a four wheel drive variant also.
In the past we have seen Audi go head to head with other top competing car brands such as Mercedes and German manufacturer BMW but can this new addition to the Audi line up next year prove to do much of the same ?.
How will the purchase price look for the Audi Q5 2.0 diesel ?
At this stage in time we are yet to hear an exact launch date for this car to go on sale but we do know that this specific Audi model will go on sale from the Summer of 2015. In regards to how much you can expect to make the purchase on this particular model for,it will retail for a cost at around £37,000.
