At GapInsurance123 we understand and recognise that our customers the most important aspect of our business. In order for us to progress we need to ensure that our products and services meet what our customers require, and an important aspect of this is the feedback we receive from consumers who use our website.
We welcome your opinion, good or bad, on what we offer in terms of web facilities and product features. This 'feedback' has enabled us to improve many aspect of what we do.
An example of this was the announcement we made in mid 2011, in advance of the GapInsurance123 brand in November 2011, that we intended to offer a full 5 year Return to Invoice and Vehicle Replacement style protection in response to consumers wishes. We had noted many of our customers fully intended keeping their vehicles much longer than the 4 years that is the maximum many other providers still offer. Nearly 18 months on from the launch of the 5 year products we can say quite conclusively that many consumers now see 4 years as completely inadequate for the intentions they have for vehicle ownership.
Another example would be the inclusion of free deferred start dates for new vehicle owners who have replacement cover included with their motor insurance in the first 12 months. Many quality motor insurers provide this replacement cover as standard, and imposing a Gap Insurance policy to run alongside this cover could simply be a complete waste of money. GapInsurance123 Return to Invoice and Vehicle Replacement Gap Insurance both allow for the start date of the cover to be deferred for 12 months, allowing you the maximum value for money we know you want, because you told us!
Finally we had a stream of consumers disappointed that their Gap Insurance product would not cover the cost of common motor dealers accessories like Paint Protection. Perhaps policies that do not allow for the financial protection of these costly items are beginning to show their age in 2013, in response to our customers feedback Gap123 does.
So as you can see, there are clear examples of how your opinion really does shape what we do.
