The New Dacia Duster Update
The Dacia Duster has arguably been one of the most popular success stories in automotive history. The Dacia brand was bought by Renault and was re marketed and built a number of years ago. However, in the past 24 months the brand has become so popular it has overtaken the base brand of Renault in markets such as Germany.
The Dacia brand is now known as the budget brand of the automotive world and similar to that of the 'Smart Price' that we have within supermarkets. However, like with certain products you would buy within the supermarket, a Dacia branded car does exactly what it says on the tin and you pay for what you get.
A number of Dacia models will not have a fitted sound system or speakers and will simply have nothing on the dashboard. On the other hand, if you wish to have such features then you can pay the additional price. This tactic seems to have set the brand apart from rivalling manufacturers.
The Dacia Duster has been the outstanding performer for the brand and will look to continue where it left off with the new updated model. The new model will be unveiled and released at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The new registrations will also look to increase sales of the Dacia brand in the next few weeks.
The new Duster updated model shows how far and how popular the brand and model has become over the past 12 months. The changes will be mostly on the exterior of the model as the headlights and grille receive an update to move with the times.
Renault have enjoyed the success and rise in sales that the brand has given them and have looked at ways of expanding the current range. Other brands such as Fiat and Nissan are experimenting with production costs and methods to see if they can possibly replicate the budget brand of Dacia elsewhere.
