This year has proven to be a success for the Honda brand. Not only have they celebrated some great success over in the car industry with the Civic and new variants of the car this year, they have also made history on the motorbike side of things by releasing one of the finest ever 300cc models in our opinion. Only recently the big time manufacturer have launched the brand new CBR300R model onto our streets here on European markets and it comes with a very sporty look to it indeed. Honda have always been one of the front runners on the motorbike market and have brought some brand innovative technology into the industry over the years. They have achieved much success with their Goldwing models, Fireblade's and 125 cc engine range. The standard line up for motorcycles casually consist of 50cc,125cc,250cc,600,750 and 1000cc engines as the main sales for manufacturers. With this brand new addition of the CBR 300R though, the company are diving into the 300cc range which could if proven to be a great seller in the future, bring some more competition from other rivals such as Kawasaki and Yamaha amongst many more.
So regarding some of the very best features that find their way into the CBR 300R,we see that looks and design wise, the bike comes with a very sporty design structure. It shares the similar sort of look that you can expect to receive from a Fireblade model only a little slimmer. A total of three colour schemes are made available for the CBR 300R which include Red,Black and the classic Honda Racing Corporation colours which consist of Red,Blue and White. We would go for the HRC colours as they make the bike look that much brighter and eye catching. The Red and Black designs look great also though. The brands 300cc line up develops on more Torque development and a boosted power source for such a lightweight motorcycle. A 286cc engine is what is fitted to this CBR machine with the Torque deliverance coming in at 27.0 NM. The engine is also liquid cooled and and a standard six speed transmission finds a place on the CBR 300R. An electric starter,1.8 litre oil capacity and a wet multiplate hydraulic clutch all come along with bike as standard pieces of equipment.
With Honda making history here with this sporty CBR300R model, other manufacturers could soon emerge in the same division bringing in some competition for the bike from current rivals Suzuki and Italian brand Ducati.
The CBR 300R has officially arrived and can be purchased right now from selected Honda showrooms/dealerships. If you are thinking about buying one of these terrific CBR300R's you can be the proud owner of one of these bikes for a total of £4,299.
