The all new Volkswagen Passat model is teased

In some news today coming fresh out of German vehicle brand Volkswagen, the all new Passat model slated for a release later this year has been officially teased by the manufacturer. An image has recently came online showing a cloth over what is the Passat model with headlights shining through. It is believed that this all new Passat model will be officially revealed early next month. This will be the eighth generation model from the Volkswagen company who have also had models such as the Golf and the Polo make it big on both new and used car markets. Could this brand new Passat model be the next big thing to make it big on the car market though ?.

What is expected for the Volkswagen Passat 2015 model ?

So what is believed to come along with this vehicle when it sees a grand launch and why could this model go up against company rivals such as Vauxhall,Audi and BMW ?. Well it is believed that when this car is launched we can expect to see a choice of engines which consist of a 2.0 litre,TDI Biturbo which will be capable of putting out 237 bhp. g side an electric motor which will produce 400 NM of torque and 208 brake horse power. A brand new set of full LED headlights look like a strong guess for this car too.

Other features such as technology that will be included with the new Passat look to include a brand new infotainment system,all new progressive steering and a 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster too.

When does the Volkswagen Passat go on sale ?

It is expected that this brand new addition to the Volkswagen line up will go on sale shortly after the Paris motor show in October of this year with the official reveal of the car set to come early next month. In terms of an expected price area for the car, £21,000 or thereabouts is the expected price tag to come along with this car.
