Today we are excited to deliver on the good news that the brand new C4 Cactus model from French manufacturer Citroen has officially gone on sale here across parts of Europe and around other parts of the world also. The Citroen brand has proven to be a big seller for their range of C4 models but we believe that with the hype and anticipation that has surrounded this all new C4 Cactus model, the company could very well be set to top sales figures once more and increase brand recognition by a vast amount. The likes of the DS3 and the C1 have proven to be two of the companies finest sellers over recent years and we believe that with this brand new addition to the line up, the mass manufacturer may very well have a model on their hands which will help them to maintain some tough competition going up against another French brand..Renault.
What you need to know about the new Citroen C4 Cactus
So what has made it into this particular model that is worth knowing about and why can this car be the one to go head to head with the likes of Toyota and Ford amongst others ?. Well as far as engine ranges are concerned, we see the choice of three separate engines. These consist of the entry level pure tech petrol engine which produces a total of 74bhp which will rise to 81 brake horse power with an extra added cost.
The second addition to the line up makes it's way to you as another petrol engine which produces a grand total of 109 brake horse power. Topping the range off though is the highest level model to be launched and we see this made available as the Flair spec engine.
The variant all consist of added features and key components that could very well prove to be key selling points for the car and we see these features include the likes of LED daytime running lights, a digital DAB radio and cruise control alongside a touch screen for the entry level model. Air conditioning, built in Bluetooth and a leather trim steering wheel comes with the mid level model. As for the highest spec model to go on sale, you can expect to find,automatic lights,wipers and air conditioning, reversing sensors,tinted rear windows and front fog lights also.
How much do the C4 Variants sell for ?
For the entry level model, your purchase price comes in at £12,990. For the mid level model, between £14,590 and £16,790 is what you can expect to pay. Last but not least the highest spec model goes on sale for a total cost of between £15,990 and £18,190 depending on other optional extras to come along with the brand new Citroen C4 Cactus.
