Peugeot announce new additions to their GT trims


The GT range from Peugeot has proven to be a popular choice over the years for customers all around the world and this morning the French manufacturer have announced some brand new additions to their popular range. Both the 508 and RCZ models are now confirmed to be receiving the new sporty treatment aswell as the 308 GT which arrives in showrooms from this month. The GT is a sports style trim package that can be added to the vehicles offering a range of new highlights including new engine ranges, LED lighting and tinted windows.

The announcement was made today revealing that both the RCZ and 508 will receive new exhaust systems too aswell as other features. We see many sporty trims becoming available via numerous car makers all around the world. The majority of these trims have seen their respective vehicles become big sellers around the world. Some of the main ones to come to mind include the Volkswagen Golf R and the Ford ST range. Peugeot will be hoping for the same amount of success if not more as these listed vehicles with their new GT trim additions.

 

The brand new additions to the Peugeot family

So with the new components coming into play, the listed features above are all to be fitted to the three vehicles but the inside of the cars have also received some new treatment too. Massaging seats for both the driver and front passenger are included with majority of the seats being made from Alcanatara leather. Red inserts have now been included and the steering wheel has also received some adjustments to make it a little bigger. A range of 1.2 litre,Puretech engines have been confirmed and BlueHDi diesel engines will also be up for the taking. An all new front grille and spoked alloy wheels will also make their presence felt on the range of new trim additions.

 

How much will the new models cost?

The only price tag that has been confirmed is for the upcoming 308 GT which will come in with listing price of £21,445. Both the new 508 and RCZ GT models are expected to be revealed in full later this year after which the vehicles will be put on sale.
