Nissan to launch the new Pulsar model


In some exciting news today regarding the Nissan brand, we are pleased to report on the upcoming launch of the brand new Pulsar model which will arrive at some point throughout the Autumn season here in the UK and on other global markets also. The Nissan brand have recently climbed the ranks over the past number of years with additions such as the Qashqai and the Juke. The vehicle will come in the form of a hatchback and is designed to go head to head with the likes of the Golf from Volkswagen and the Vauxhall Astra.

 

What can you expect from the Nissan Pulsar ?

 

So what brand new features can you expect to come along with the new Pulsar model that could help it to prove as some ideal competition for other top manufacturers around the world such as the Ford firm with the Focus ?. Well firstly we see the welcome additions engine wise of a 1.2 litre, turbo charged petrol engine which is set to develop a total of 113 brake horse power. Your alternative engine to choose from is a 1.5 litre which will put out 109 brake horse power.

 

The company have also confirmed that from 2015 we will see a 1.6 litre,petrol engine go on sale with the car. This has been confirmed to put out around 189 brake horse power. It has also been confirmed that a choice of either six speed,standard manual gearboxes or X tronic CVT transmissions systems will come as choices for all variants of the vehicle.

 

Four different variations of the car will be made available from the launch and they will consist of added pieces of kit. For the Pulsar Visia we see that items such as a five inch infotainment system,Bluetooth,air conditioning and 16 inch alloy wheels will come fitted.

As for the other three variants expect to receive other features such as automatic wipers, keyless entry,LED running lights and heated seating.

 

How much will the different variants go on sale for ?

 

For the entry level Visia model you can expect to pay £15,995. The Acenta will sell for £17,645. The Pulsar Ntec for £18,995 and finally for the range topping Tekna the cost comes in at £20,345. Sadly an exact launch date is yet to be confirmed for the new Pulsar, but it will arrive at some point throughout Autumn this year.
