McLaren 650S special edition-Mercedes new C Class interior-Jaguar XF-R Sports


Jaguar-Land Rover have revealed an all new addition to their XF-R Sports range coming in the form of the Black model. Jaguar have now thrown in some new parts and accessories aswell as a new engine. Casting our attention first and foremost to the engine unit to come included with the car, we see that the British firm have thrown in a 2.2 litre,turbocharged engine unit coming in the form of a diesel producing 197 bhp. The car is now offered in a total of five colours and is matched by twenty inch Black alloy wheels. Memory functioning sports seating is also thrown into the mix aswell as a new Meridian sound setup. The firm have also made changes to the rest of their XF range with heated seating and windscreen,a rear view camera and parking sensors also now coming as standard with the Sportbrake and Saloon vehicles. Jaguar have also gotten rid off SE business and premium luxury trim levels altogether with the V6 petrol engine and the TDV6 diesel also up for the chop.

 

McLaren reveal a special edition 650S Le Mans model

It was twenty years ago that McLaren won the Le Mans 24 hour race and also nabbed the third place position. In order to celebrate this tremendous occasion, the super car brand have revealed a brand new special edition version of their popular 650S in the form of the Le Mans special edition. The brand have said that anyone who buys the car will also be given a ticket for themselves and a guest to go along to the twentieth year celebration that they are having at Le Mans to celebrate the occasion. Now heading our attention over to the car itself though. A 3.8 litre, V8 engine has been included with a twin turbocharged setup also holding its position inside the car.

Carbon fibre has been used on the splitter and the back bumper and a set of carbon ceramic brakes also add to the excitement. The supercar takes two different size wheels with the front end using nineteen inch alloys and the back fitted with twenties. Leather Alcantara seating has been thrown in with the car with bright Orange features thrown in too. The big difference is that now both the floor mats and headrests of the seats are now thrown in with anniversary logos to celebrate the twenty year anniversary win. McLaren have announced that the special edition model will be available to buy later this year and it will come along with a cost of £244,500.

 

Mercedes working on an all new interior

Mercedes have officially began work on their latest addition into their C Class range. The company have been spied testing the latest C Class making big changes to the interior design and setup of the vehicle and although not confirmed as of yet, it is expected that the firm are to make some fine tweaks to the engine range in the C Class too. Both safety and technology is to be a strong focus area for the car with the addition of an all new TFT screen,detection cameras,a set of ultra-sonic sensors and new radar detection systems. There could be new alterations made to the bodywork of the car and materials on the inside but for now we are awaiting comment from Mercedes themselves.
