In some news today coming fresh out of the car industry, we are excited to report on the latest breaking news coming directly out of the Detroit motor show over in the states, which sees the official reveal from the Toyota owned,Japanese manufacturer Lexus, and comes in the shape and the form of the all new RCF model. In terms of looks and design of the model itself, we believe it looks very neat,and the model that was revealed came in a,lovely metallic blue paint job much similar to that you would expect to see on a Subaru WRX model. In terms of eye catching components on this model, one of the first things we noticed was the shape, which comes in a sort of dart style layout, designed in order to increase agility and aero dynamics of this particular model.
What we know so far about the Lexus RC F
In terms of specs,techs,gadgets and features of this particular model,the brand officially came out yesterday and announced what has exactly gone into this model during the manufacturing process, and with what was said, we definitely believe it could be the benchmark and the stepping stone that the company needed, in order to put them back amongst top car brand's such as, Mazda,Bmw and Mercedes amongst many more in the new and used car market in this generation. In terms of specs though, the company announced that we will see the inclusion of, a 5.0 litre,V8 engine, which in total will carry a whopping number of, 450 units of brake horse power altogether. The inclusion of two power cycles were also announced, and we see these come in the form of, an Otto cycle which,produces higher revs than usual, and maximum power efficiency, and the Atkinson cycle which has been announced,is designed to reduce fuel consumption and produce lower revs.
In terms of speeds for this particular model, we will see this car go from a standstill to speeds of 62 miles per hour in a time of just over four seconds, therefore producing top speeds of 168 miles per hour. An eight speed automatic transmission system has also been included during the manufacturing process. So now in terms of interior features, we see the welcome addition of, Leather stitched sports seats,improved grip pedals,a seven inch touch screen has also been stated to come with the car.
When can you purchase your Lexus RC F and for what cost ?
Firstly in terms of a release date on this particular addition to the line, the Japan based company have officially stated that there are two release dates lined up for the new Lexus, this will see the debut of the RC F version sometime towards the end of this year, and the standard model of this car which is expected to see a release, of early 2015. In terms of a price tag that comes along with this vehicle,the reports are saying that this new RC F model will be available from around the £57,000 area.
