In some car manufacturing news today coming directly out of the British owned company known as Land Rover, we are pleased to report on the latest news circulating online, that the brand new replacement vehicle for the free lander which comes in the form of the Discovery, has been officially seen testing and images have been circulating online, the latest model from the company is set for an expected release, sometime throughout 2015. Judging from the looks of the screenshots that have been circulating, this particular vehicle from the successful British brand is much larger than the free lander which came before, in terms of the look and styling design of the car itself, not a lot can really be seen, as the car was heavily disguised during the testing period.
The secrets behind the Land Rover Discovery
In terms of performance and comfort, Land Rover have always provided a perfect combination of both, to satisfy the customer's needs. Although we do not currently know a massive amount regarding the specs of this particular vehicle, we do know a few of the unique features and specs that have been rumored to have been done to the car during the production process. So let's take a look. Well firstly we see the inclusion of a, a choice of either a five or seven seater model depending on the consumers preference, raked back headlights and an additional third seating row in the back of the model. We also have the welcome addition of, a brand new larger grille neatly placed onto the front Bonnet and raised bumpers. In terms of the engine size and capacity, that are available for the vehicle ahead of purchase, you can expect to have the choice of either a, 2.0 litre, turbo charged engine, four cylinder design in both petrol and Diesel formats. The choice of either two or four wheel drive is also available to consumers around the world. We do believe that this family SUV vehicle, could officially be revealed to the public and media alike, at this years Geneva motor show, if the rumors are correct. With these features being said, we do expect this model to be a top of the range rival for that of the likes of the, Qashqai from Nissan, and the brand new SX4 cross over from Suzuki and the range in Kia Sportage models.
When will we see the Land Rover Discovery on our roads ?
In terms of a release date for the new addition to the ever growing range From Land Rover, the secondary company from Range Rover, we do believe that if the plans work out the way the company are hoping, you will be available to purchase this model from your nearest dealership sometime throughout the course of 2015. In terms of a pricing structure on the Discovery, nothing is yet to be announced, but we do expect to hear more on the matter, ahead of the vehicle's official unveilment.
