Jeep give us the first taste of their brand new Renegade model

Spring of March 2015 will be a special time for the automotive trade and to be more precise the Jeep brand. They will officially launch their brand new Renegade model onto our streets and it could very well be a car that takes the SUV sector to a whole new level. Jeep have been one of the flagship manufacturers around the world when it comes to SUV vehicles and this has been the case ever since they were originally founded in 1941. There have been many variations of SUV released by the brand over the years and they are one of the original companies to produce SUV models from the start. Jeep used to provide transport during world war two to the forces which were used for transporting weapons and military personnel. This all new Renegade model though is an entirely new vehicle to be offered by the brand and could very well prove to be be one of the must own vehicles to be launched around the world throughout the course of 2015.

What features are expected to come along with the new Jeep Renegade ?

So now in regards to some of the brand new features that will come along with this SUV addition, it has been confirmed that regarding the engine line up that will come along with the car, we can expect to receive the fitting of a 2.0 litre,four cylinder,turbo diesel unit which combined with the standard six speed manual transmission system will see the new Renegade deliver on an all round power output of 138 brake horse power. A total top speed of 110 miles per hour can be achieved from the Renegade and we see this limitation boosted along by the sprint time from 0 to 62 miles per hour which can be achieved in a total time of 10.2 seconds. The Renegade will also only be offered as a front wheel drive variant. A 1.6 litre petrol Multiair engine range will also be made available with the car. A fully leather interior and a leather steering wheel will also come as part of the package alongside the addition of a built in touch screen too.

This brand new SUV addition to the market could very well establish itself as one of the finest vehicles that the Jeep brand has ever put on the road. The SUV market has vastly increased over the most recent number of years thanks to models like the Nissan Qashqai,Toyota Rav4 and the upcoming brand new XC90 model from Swedish manufacturer Volvo. It has been confirmed by the company in charge directly that, we can expect to see the Renegade on the road from the Sprint time of next year. In regards to how much the car is expected to go on sale for, expect to pay out around the £24,000 area.
