When GapInsurance123 was first launched in November 2011 we had high hopes for a new brand with lofty ambitions. Our hopes were built of strong foundations, as we had worked with a specialist insurer over a 12 month period to provide the most comprehensive range of products in the market at that time. Over the last 21 months we have seen GapInsurance123 perform way beyond expectation, and the main reason we think is the winning combination of quality features at market leading prices.
However, the world does not stand still, and neither will GapInsurance123.
Our web developers are currently working on a brand new brand for our company, Aequitas Automotive, providing us with a third major Gap Insurance brand in the UK. Once that ship has left the dock (and we are talking just a few weeks), next to berth with our web developers will be the good ship GapInsurance123.
Any makeover of our retail websites is quite an undertaking. Aequitas Automotive websites are bespoke in design and build, and this means much more time and effort than a website built in a CMS platform like WordPress and Joomla. These platforms are fantasic for blogs, but in our view these types of software can be a target for hackers on many occasions. This has been highlighted many times in the press and on the internet recently, and although extra web security may mean our facilities could be fine, we feel that bespoke designed websites are more secure for our consumers.
So what can you expect to see with the new GapInsurance123? Well we hope our new layout will be much more functionality, with additional features at your fingertips to make you visit much easier.
We will also provide a customer account section in order for you to access your documents, request amendments and transfers, and access deals on new products to add to your current products.
Our new GapInsurance123 system will also allow us to add an unlimited number of additional products, and it is our aim to provide new cover for Tyre Insurance, SMART Dent and Scratch Insurance, Alloy Wheel cover, Motor Excess Insurance and many more. These products are designed to compliment our existing GapInsurance123 brands.
The project to revamp GapInsurance123 will also involve the intorduction of new 'stand alone' facilities for some of the new products we have available, but not necessarily from the same insurer. Over the last few years we have built relationships with a number of insurance providers, and this has enabled us to gain access to a range of products from a panel of underwriters. This is the real advantage of using a company like Aequitas Automotive above others, as we are a true broker of these products. We do not only provide access to products from one insurer, and this gives us much more scope in terms of product features and solutions.
Lets take the introduction of Tyre Insurance as an example. Our company will hope to have at least three Tyre Insurance products at our disposal in time for the September plate change. For those looking for the very best price and cover, we think you will find it hard to beat the solutions we can offer.
There is a trand amongst car dealers to offer a bundle of products together, like Gap Insurance, Tyre Insurance, SMART Dent and Scratch and Alloy Wheel Insurance is a common combination.
