Ford reveals a range of new updates for the Kuga

The Kuga which is one of Ford's biggest selling SUV models has been confirmed to be receiving a range of brand new updates in 2015 which include more power, lower fuel emissions and some other tweaks also. The vehicle was first launched around the world in 2007 with the companies second generation model going on sale in 2012. Now two years down the line, the Kuga is an SUV that has proven to be a popular seller for the American automaker but perhaps not quite as high up in the ranks as models such as the Rav4 or the Citroen C4 as far as SUV models go. Can this range of updates being introduced for the vehicle bring it higher up in the ranks though and could these new changes be that extra added set of features that perhaps convince you into making the purchase on a Kuga?.

What new changes have Ford introduced for the Kuga?

Well the big noteworthy change here is of course the overall power and performance upgrades that the vehicle will receive in 2015. Stop/Start technology alongside Ford's active grille shutter now both come along with the Kuga as standard. A new 1.5 litre turbo Ecoboost engine has also been thrown into the mix with the vehicle. One of the more popular engine choices for customers has proven to be the two litre diesel unit. The company have also announced that emissions have been improved for this unit by twelve percent. Three new paint schemes have also been included with the vehicle which include Metallic Red,Magnetic Metallic and a Metallic Orange paint scheme has also been thrown in with the vehicle. Ford have also included their brand new SYNC system which allows the driver to control apps in the car via voice control.

So the question remains, are these new updates enough to put the Kuga up in the big leagues amongst its rivals such as the Juke from Nissan and the Zafira and Meriva from Vauxhall which are set to become SUV vehicles in 2016?.

How much do these new updates to the Kuga cost?

That is where some even better news comes into play as we are pleased to make you aware of the good news that the purchase price on the Kuga remains unchanged even with these brand new updates coming into play. That means you can still expect to pay out £20,995 for a brand new Kuga. The vehicle can also be ordered from your nearest Ford dealer right now.
