Fold Up Scooter to Enter the UK

Fold Up Scooter to Enter the UK

We have already seen the fold up bicycle and now we will see the fold up scooter, but its not the traditional scooter but an electrically powered scooter. The design and invention has been labelled as being the ultimate form of transport for the daily commuter. As the scooter folds up it cuts out the need to find a parking space and as it is electrically powered you will not have to pay for petrol.

The scooter has the ability to fold in the middle which would allow you to travel with it on the train or even in the back of the car. The Scooter will then have the capability of achieving a maximum of 28mph. The only non foldable component on the Scooter is the leather seat which will rest on top of the scooter when it has been folded into the case.

Could this be the end of parking?

The Scooter weighs 25 kilograms and has a battery life of a total 22 miles but only has a one hour full charge time. The Scooter will be called the Moveo and is propelled and powered by small electric motors situated within the wheels. The Scooter has all sorts of tricks under its sleeve with one of them being it separating into two, allowing one half to be pulled along like a suitcase and the other to be attached to a back pack and carried upon your back.

The Moveo Scooter is said to be going on sale sometime next year and will look to rival other motorbike and scooter manufacturers such as Peugeot and Honda. In terms of cost you may be surprised. The Moveo Scooter will be priced in the region of £2,000 which we at Gap 123 think could be a real bargain depending on how much use you would get out of it over the course of a number of years.
