At GapInsurance123 we are often asked how long it takes to settle a claim. Of course this is a clear concern with any 'total loss', as you no longer have your vehicle and you will be keen to settle any finance and buy a replacement.
GapInsurance123 is one of the few Gap Insurance providers who actually provide you with a written commitment within our policy terms. From 2011 we have stated that we aim to settle your claim within 14 days of receiving the necessary documentation from you.

If you are looking to make a claim, we urge you to follow these terms, and this will help us settle your claim quickly and efficiently. What is more, from 13/1/14 we provide a written commitment that, if the procedure is followed, we aim settle claims within 10 working days.
It is an old adage that your insurance can only be judged in the event of a claim, we hope our written 10 day commitment gives you confidence that you will not be left high and dry!
