The latest Suzuki-Kawasaki and Yamaha motorbike news

The new Kawasaki Versys range consisting of both the 650 and 1000cc model badged as 2015 models have now been out on sale by the motorbike company and road testers have recently been getting their hands on both machines. Therefore it is interesting to see how efficiently and how well these models are designed compared to previous additions to the range over the years. If you're looking for something a little more powerful to go for then your best option is certainly the 1000cc model although the 650 is no slouch. A brand new dual headlight system has caught the attention of many motorbike owners on the 1000cc version and given a 1043cc engine and 118 brake horse power output, it is something that will certainly get you from A to B in a fairly reasonable time. The screen can be adjusted and the seat has been heavily focused on during development in order to generate a much more comfortable experience for the rider.

With a look into the 650 variant, the engine on the bike has received some changes which means that this variation now sees 68bhp produced with features such as the suspension system, brakes and the fuel economy also receiving some hard work resulting in vast improvements. The 650 model is on sale from Kawasaki at £6,749 which includes ABS as standard and the price rises slightly for the 1000cc model hitting out at £9,749 which is also fitted with ABS.

The Yamaha MT 09 Tracer receives a five star rating

The new MT 09 Tracer model from Yamaha has received five star ratings from the Motorcycle news and more road testers alike. The newly revised model which is badged as a part of the companies 2015 range has seen some vast improvements compared to its predecessor and could be the change that the bike needed to keep up with tourers from BMW Motorrad and KTM respectively. With some of the highlights of the bike coming into play, we see that an 847cc engine now comes into play with 115 brake horse power being produced. The bike carries eighteen litres of fuel which will see it travel around 166 miles on a full tank and a new rear sub frame and alterations made to the HUD display system and stand make it just that little bit more special. In our opinion, the new MT09 Tracer 2015 is good value for money at the cost of £8,149.

Suzuki sign a partnership with Halsall racing in the BSB championship

For the 2015 season of the British superbike championship, the Suzuki corporation have come to an agreement in partnership with the Halsall company. Halsall racing will officially make the switch from their partnership with Kawasaki to Suzuki. Two riders from Halsall racing will take on the challenge of the next BSB season and both riders will be doing it on a pair of GSXR 1000CC bikes. Both GSXR models have already arrived with the company but the firm are yet to reveal just who will be riding both bikes for them in the championship.
