Toyota ready to launch the brand new Rav 4 EV ?

In some upcoming vehicle release news today to make its way out of the Japanese owned car company well known under the name of Toyota, we are pleased to report on one of the upcoming vehicle releases from the mass manufacturer which comes your way in the shape and form of the brand new Rav 4 EV model that is officially set for a launch here in the UK and around other countries too. The only thing is,nobody knows when. Over the years Toyota have certainly established a great name for themselves in the car industry with some models such as, the Aygo and the Yaris. We believe that the Rav 4 is also a perfect model too and, this all new EV version of the car could very well help boost sales on the vehicle and cement its legacy in the future of both our new and used car industry.

So with that being said, what has gone into the Rav 4 EV during its time in production and what is it about this EV addition to the range that helps its rival opponents such as the likes of Nissan and Vauxhall with some of their EV models ?. Well firstly underneath the bonnet we see the inclusion of,a front mounted,electric motor that produces 152 brake horse power and will therefore reach overall top speeds of 100 miles per hour. The vehicle is also reported to hit 60 miles per hour from a standstill in a time of only seven seconds flat. It has also been stated by brand owners that, the model has a full range from a charge of 113 miles. The vehicle will only be made available as a front wheel drive variant but is also reported to come fully fitted with a single speed transmission system.

Its not just the motor though that we believe to be the key selling point of this all new Toyota RAV 4 model. Toyota have also confirmed that the model will benefit from some added pieces of kit too which come your way in the form of,a built in sat-nav system,air conditioning as standard,LED lights,a roof spoiler and to finish the car off nicely we also see the welcome addition of a multi functioning steering wheel.

What will be the purchase price on the Toyota Rav 4 EV

Sadly nothing has been confirmed as of yet regarding an expected release date for this brand new model but, we do believe that when the vehicle does officially launch it will be made available at a cost of around the £32,000 area.As soon as we hear more regarding any official details on this brand new Toyota RAV 4 model we will keep you informed.
