Volkswagen Polo Blue GT Due for Release

Volkswagen Polo Blue Gt

The importance of emissions has been emphasised in recent weeks as the UK Government looks to promote all things emission less and low fuel economy vehicles like the new Volkswagen Polo Blue Gt. Volkswagen have recently noticed the success of the Nissan Leaf model in the way of its electric car sales.

The Volkswagen Polo Blue Gt is designed to compete with the other low emission vehicles currently on sale in the market. The Volkswagen aim is to achieve a quick car along with a low emission vehicle. The Volkswagen Polo standard model is achieving a record number of sales as it currently sits on top of the European sales chart and also sits in the top 5 of the UK sales.

In terms of the important facts and figures in a claimed low emission car is its performance figures along with the emission and fuel economy figures. The Volkswagen Blue Gt will reach 0-60 in a time of 7.9 seconds whilst only emitting 107g/km of CO2. These are impressive figures and statistics in the way of emission less or low emission vehicles.

However, Volkswagen enthusiasts have stated that the engine does sound a little laboured in terms of the sound but have also stated the sound is not unpleasant just different. The Blue GT model has 17 inch alloy wheels along with a bespoke suspension that has lowered the ride height to make it quicker along the ground and to fiddle with the aerodynamics amongst other things to increase the speed.

Volkswagen have revealed that they plan to expand in the way of reducing emissions and electric vehicles as rivals BMW and Mercedes have also took an interest and began shipping vehicles. The Volkswagen brand Audi have also began to start developing electric and hybrid vehicles amongst other vehicles. The development of fuel efficient vehicles will help appeal to the numerous motorists who have chosen another brand because of the effect the vehicle has on the atmosphere along with the wallet. Volkswagen will now look to reclaim a market share of which it once possessed with the Polo and the Golf models.
