We have recently learnt of the news that Jeep are already planning their next Wrangler model which is due to go on sale in 2017. The Wrangler is one of the American companies biggest sellers alongside the Cherokee range and the Grand Cherokee so it would only seem realistic that the company are looking to take their Wrangler to the next level. There are rumours surrounding the next addition to the Wrangler family that it may be all set to be offered in hybrid form in two years time. A number of years ago Chrysler spoke on the possibility of a Wrangler hybrid in the future to which they responded it is pretty much inevitable that the vehicle would happen. Of course the new hybrid option is nothing more than speculation for the time being but if Jeep or Chrysler comment on the vehicle announcing the news, we will make you aware of the great news.
For the very first time, images have surfaced online revealing the brand new Mercedes Benz C Class Coupe which is all set to go on sale later this year in October. The spy shots were revealed online which show the car on public roads disguised by a hefty amount of camouflage. The big four litre V8 engine currently used in the C Class will carry over to the new addition to the family and we can expect to see more powerful variations of the car developed by AMG shortly after the cars grand launch. The car has been made much more aero dynamic than ever before boasting a sloping roof which leads into the bonnet in order to perform more efficiently against windy gales. Joined by a carbon look front grille and swept back headlights the Coupe is looking to be one of the most attractive C Class additions to date. The first official display can be expected to be seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany which takes place later this year with sales to begin shortly after.
The new Astra from Vauxhall has been spotted testing on the road before. Whereas some features still remain the same such as the disguise that the car has been spotted under, the latest addition into the gallery shows Vauxhall and the new direction in which they are taking their hatchback with a new set of lights. The brand new Astra is to become available later this year and is expected to be offered with both a one litre and a 1.5 litre engine setup. There could also be a powerful range topping direct injection turbocharged engine offered with the car too but this stands unconfirmed for the moment. One of the biggest areas of attention for the firm with this particular model is the weight that the car carries. It has been reported that weight reduction is to be one of the big ingredients for success with the new Astra. There is no word on how this is to be achieved but much like other car firms have, we would expect to see aluminium bodywork and some carbon potentially. We will have more information on the new Astra as and when it becomes available.
