Anything as interesting as the Mystery Machine-Jan-Barrett-Jackson Car auction?

The Barrett-Jackson auction is almost ready to take place in Scottsdale from January 13th-20th 2013. The Barrett-Jackson auction aswell as all of the classic masterpieces you would expect to see at a car auction, only three months ago was the home of an exciting little van that used to be the forefront of many a cluedo style mystery, of course I am talking about the mystery machine. None other than the run around that used to drive scooby doo's gang, while they meddled in the affairs of local criminals. Though, of course it was not the real thing, as it does not exist.

This van was a Ford Econoline 1965 which had been completely customized to look exactly like the van those meddling kids used to drive around in. The previous owner had in fact gone as far as to ensure the van had the famous orange wheels. The interior of the van however is even more fantastic, featuring such things as an L shaped couch which has been created by using two bench seats and they are also facing a 26 inch flat screen television with attached DVD player.

There are green and blue shaggy carpets to match the interior seats and there is also a fridge and a freezer to keep food and drinks in, obviously if you are going hunting for ghosts through the night, you are bound to get a bit peckish.

The van had been rebuilt with an inline six-cylinder engine and brand new brakes at the rear, there was much mechanical work that had been taken out on the van.

I wonder what treats this car auction will have in store. With the odd exciting invention such as this one, who's to say that this year Fred Flinstone's rubble masterpiece will not be up to be bid for.
