With the record day we had at GapInsurance123 on Friday March 1st, it was fair to say we expect this was simply a sign of things to come.........and we have not been disappointed!
The team at 'Gap Towers' have been assisting customers queries, and assisting them to set up cover over the last few days. The normal hours for our Call Centre is 9am until 7pm Monday to Friday, and 10am until 4pm on a Saturday. Sunday is a day that our team does get off for good behaviour I am afraid.
These opening hours are the longest in the industry, we believe, and something we offer our customers for 52 weeks of the year (give or take the odd Christmas Day!). Our longer opening hours are not just for the busy times!
However, even the 10 hours a day we are open in the week have not been enough in the last few days. Our GapInsurance123 team, who also handled all enquiries for the other leading brand Easy Gap, have been working past 9pm some nights. This is to ensure that each and every customer is called, and every policy is placed.
At these busy times we really do appreciate our customers patience. Remember our telephone number is a free phone number, hold as long as you wish..........it is on us! Remember also there is a facility to leave a message, and to request a 'call back'.
