Mazda are the latest brand to issue a recall on one of their popular motors. The brand over the weekend confirmed that they are to recall a total of one hundred thousand Mazda 6 sedan models due to faults with their tyre monitoring systems. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued the recall and has stated that models made from this year onwards are affected by the recall. The tyre pressure monitoring system is designed to show the driver that there is enough air pressure in the tyres of the Mazda 6. When the pressure falls below a certain point, an indication is given to the driver to make them aware. The problem is though that the driver will not be made aware of this. Mazda have stated that a simple fix to the systems software is all that is required to solve the problem.
The Super Duke has been a very important ingredient in the success of the KTM motorcycle brand over the years and now the Australian company are looking to help boost the overall practicality of the machine by introducing a new 1290 Sports Tourer edition of the bike. We are still quite a way of the launch of this bike, but it has been spotted for the first time ever undergoing some testing on public roads. We believe that the bike will not make it onto the road until at least 216 but will receive some new technology features and a revised chassis also. A 1290 Super Adventure KTM has been confirmed to see a launch next year and will received lower panniers and lowered exhausts. We therefore are left wondering as to whether the firm will incorporate this into the new 1290 Sports tourer also. The pictures of the bike show it in a White paint job with Black inserts. A large front screen also gives it that traditional touring look that can also be found on many BMW Motorrad models.
