Ducati Scrambler sales-BMW 300cc model in the works-Special Kawasaki Ninja 400

It does not surprise us that Ducati are celebrating some success with the sales of motorcycles this year. After all, they are the company responsible for some of the biggest and best selling motorcycles of all time which include the likes of the 999 and their Monster range aswell as the Superleggra. However what surprises us today is that the sales of the companies new Scrambler model is the one that is making headlines. For the course of last month alone, the Audi owned firm have stated that a total of 7,3069 Scramblers were delivered to customers here in the UK. When we look at that figure compared to one year ago, this shows a climb of twenty nine percent. The biggest selling country for the model though was the brands home country of Italy were sales on this particular bike had climbed by a whopping sixty nine percent. The sales are thought to be contributed by the latest in campaign in which Ducati took to get more sales of the bike. A website was also designed which shows pretty much everything you need to know about the model. This just goes to show that it doesn't have to be a sports model to get good sales.

Is a 300cc BMW motorcycle drawing closer?

Over the past number of months we have heard reports that a new 300cc could be all set to be developed by BMW Motorrad in conjunction with Indian firm TVS. It appears that this week has seen this idea move one step closer to reality as a picture has emerged online of a new wheel that is expected to be used for the bike which has also been seen previously on spy shots of the bike in question. This could point all signs towards the launch of this new 300cc model which could very well see production before the end of next year. At the moment there are only two things confirmed for the bike. One is that it will be using a 300cc single engine and the second is that it is being developed under the name of the K3 which for now is just the codename. The German motorcycle maker and TVS alike remain silent on the development of the new bike but this is definitely a hot topic on the minds of motorcycle fans all around the world.

Kawasaki reveal the Ninja 400 limited edition model

Kawasaki have taken the wraps off of a new limited edition version of their 400 Ninja model which will come with a special Black and Gold paint design. Fans all around the world are excited for the new motorcycle but unfortunately this may come as a bit of a problem. The company have revealed that this particular model will only be available on the streets of Japan and will not launch anywhere else. They will also be in short supply as only three hundred units of the bike are to be sold in total. A White option rather than the Black has also been announced by Kawasaki. We would love to see the bike here in Britain but unfortunately it is to not be the case. Kawasaki confirmed that a launch for the limited edition model will take place later this year in Japan.
