Nissan GT R Nismo 2015,Toyota Mirai in Japan,US Honda Civic receives new engine

It has been discussed a lot as of late and could be set to become one of the more favourable Toyota models on offer. The brand new Mirai from the firm is their jump into the alternative fuel cell vehicle line up by offering the car running from hydrogen power. Many other companies are also taking a slice of the action in this division such as Hyundai by introducing the ix35. The big news for Toyota though is that the car has officially gone on sale now in their home country of Japan. The vehicle is believed to be made available here in the United Kingdom and across other parts European areas from the Summer time of next year. Toyota have made history with the new launch by being the first manufacturer ever to offer a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Seven hundred units of the car are expected to be produced by the end of 2015 and the firm are working hard to increase these production figures.

The new Nissan GT R Nismo for 2015

We have seen the arrival of the brand new Nissan GT R Nismo for the 2015 year but is it something truly special that should grab your attention?. The car is now available on the road here in the UK and is packing a lot of power. Production of the very first Nissan GT R was began in 2007 and here we are nearly eight years later and it is on record as one of the quickest vehicles that Nissan have on offer. If you're looking for that powerful driving experience that the previous GT R delivered upon, then you will definitely be looking in the right place. We see that a V6 engine has been fitted to the Nismo and carries 3.8 litres with a twin turbo charger also included. 600 brake horse power is the resulting power output with a top speed limitation put in place of 195mph. We have no trouble in believing that the new GT R Nismo will certainly turn heads much in the same way that its predecessor has done.

The US version of the Honda Civic receives a new engine

Next year will be an exciting time for Honda as they launch their brand new Civic Type R model onto the streets of the United Kingdom. The sad news rests with US fans though who will not receive the car. So how can the Japanese firm make it up to US drivers, well that question has now been answered by the company. The firm have stated that the new Civic model for the United States next year will officially receive the very same engine that is coming fitted to the new Civic Type R. In our opinion this is pretty much the same as owning your very own new Type R as we know these cars are mainly focused on their power aspect. This means that the two litre turbo unit will be included for American customers of the Civic seeing between 276 and 320 brake horse power delivered.
