The future of electronic vehicles and Toyota

In some car industry news today coming straight out of Japan the brand Toyota, we are pleased to report on the latest news regarding an all new electronic vehicle concept model which comes in the form of the FCV which is all set for an expected launch, potentially in 2017. Over the duration of the past few years, electronic vehicles are swiftly making their way into both, the new and used car markets. Some brands have had huge success with the range of vehicle where as, some car companies are hoping for future success with theirs. Brand's such as Nissan with the Leaf model and BMW with the i3 but, what makes Toyota's vision so different compared to that of the others in the line up.

What we know so far about the Toyota FCV concept car

Without a doubt Electronic vehicles are a glimpse into the future, as even motorbike's are setting a trend now with some of their EV ideas also, but what makes the FCV stand out above the rest?. Well firstly, we see the welcome addition's of an all new fuel cell engine and, an all new electric motor placed neatly into the vehicle which in total will carry a grand amount of 135 unit's of brake horse power. It is rumored that the car will go from a standstill to speed's of 62 miles per hour in a time of just, nine seconds flat.

Therefore with top speed's being capped at 110 miles per hour. The all new Toyota model will come in a front wheel drive format, which will include a single speed transmission system. It has been stated by the brand owner's that, the car will have a range of up to three hundred miles from a full charge on the battery before needing a top up again. In regards to some of the key component's and what makes this car unique, we believe we see this come in the shape and form of, a built in air conditioning system,a leather steering wheel and electronic windows. In general we believe that this could indeed have the potential, to boost Toyota to the top of the sales chart's when it comes to the electronic vehicle trade, and could prove to be a big rival for the top spot, going up against the likes of, Nissan,Ford and Vauxhall and any other brands that begin to produce EV vehicles in the future, perhaps some higher end brand's such as Jaguar or Porsche.

The price and release time of the all new Toyota FCV concept vehicle

When it comes down to an official release time that is expected for this car, nothing has been officially confirmed by the Japanese mass manufacturer as of yet, but we do believe that this model is expected to launch here in the United Kingdom sometime throughout the duration of 2017. In regards to a price tag that is expected to come along with the all new, Toyota FCV, it is expected that you will be able to make the investment into this model for a cost of around £60,000.
