Ford have announced that their brand new Focus RS model will receive its grand debut from the brands home country of America when it goes on display next week from the New York Motor Show. For the moment the brand have announced that the new Focus RS to be revealed will be the US spec model but no confirmation has been given off the UK spec model as of yet. Regarding the features that will come along with this US version,a 2.3 litre Ecoboost engine will be included in the line up with more than 315bhp confirmed to be the power deliverance but Ford still remain tight lipped on the exact performance output for this hot hatch model. The new RS model will run on an all wheel drive platform and a new sports suspension system has also been included to make the driving experience of the Focus more smoother than ever. Electric power steering and adjustable dampers also adjust to the road surface the car is travelling on. Brembo brakes and Michelin Pilot tyres also add to the excitement of the new Focus RS. For the moment Ford are keeping prices and a launch time for the car very much under lock and key but we do expect to find this news out and more specs from the New York Motor Show at the cars grand debut next week.
Nissan subsidiary brand Infiniti have revealed more information regarding their facelifted QX50 model which will also go on display from the New York Motor Show next week. The brand have given us more information regarding the cars size which is claimed to be increased by over three inches which will therefore result in more interior space inside of the vehicle for both leg and head room. Infiniti have also increased the ride height of the car. Aswell as this announcement, the company also confirmed that a brand new alloy wheel design will also be set to be included with the range and brand new side sills will also come into play with the revisions made to this model. The revisions made to the suv could see it become a bigger player in the suv segment all around the world and we look forward to hearing more information on the new model from next week over in the US.
We all recognise the Beetle as being one of the most popular selling vehicles that the Volkswagen Group has ever developed. However a company in China name 'VIDOEV' have designed a model which looks very similar to the car. The brand are well known for using a similar badge logo that we can find on Nissan models and this week the company are looking to make a few headlines with this new model design. The company specialise in electric vehicles which is what this new model is. An electric motor with 27 brake horse power features in this Beetle like EV. The question is though, how long is it going to be before the Volkswagen Group check out this new model and give their thoughts?.
