The new Bentley Bentayga which is set to be the very first SUV model offered from Bentley Motors in history has been seen testing on public roads for the first time. Bentley are keeping a lot under wraps for the brand new model including the body design. The images that have been posted online show the new car wearing a disguise for its body work hiding its true look. The large oval headlights Bentley are famous for can clearly be seen however including a large chrome designed front grille. The model that was seen however has been confirmed to be carrying a W12, twin turbo charged, six litre engine. Another offering is also expected to be a turbocharged, four litre V8. This is just one of two SUV models announced by high flying car firms with Rolls Royce also confirming the news last week that they are set to produce a new SUV themselves. Bentley have confirmed that their Bentayga will go on sale later this year but Rolls Royce are yet to give a launch time for their model.
Volvo have revealed this week their aims for the amount of sales on their Polestar range for this year. The Swedish brand have confirmed that for the duration of this year, they are to produce a total of 750 units of the range which includes the likes of the V60 and the S60. This is not the only big news as it was confirmed that with these hopes of more sales, the brand are to put the cars on sale across other countries too. The Middle East has now been confirmed for the sales of this range for this year. 2014 was a brilliant year for the Volvo Polestar range and now with this expansion, 2015 could be even bigger. We have already heard about the discussions going on within the company as to whether more models could be added to this range in the future and some of these could come into effect from this year potentially. Volvo will also launch their new XC90 model this year which is expected to be one of their best sellers for the whole year. As soon as we hear any more on these developments, we will keep you informed.
