Volvo have suggested that they could be all set to bring even more Polestar vehicles to the market in the future. Both the S60 and the V60 are currently offered in Polestar formats and the Swedish brand are apparently in talks about which vehicle could be next in their line up to receive the Polestar treatment. It is reported that Volvo are looking at spanning the Polestar range to a number of current models that they presently offer on the road. This year will see the arrival of the new XC90 which is to bring the company a lot of publicity and custom and they will also replace the S80 with the S90 this year too. Both current Polestar models sold out very quickly which shows that the demand for this kind of vehicle from the firm is very high. Therefore it would make sense for Volvo to develop even more additions to the Polestar range and we are interested to see just which cars the company have their sights on to make the changes too.
Vauxhall already offer a range of their popular Corsa model in the form of a van. Today however the company have revealed the next generation of this model from the motor event taking place in Brussels right now. The vehicle does look very similar to the standard Corsa hatchback which was the best selling vehicle in the United Kingdom for 2014. It just adds even more storage space and is considerably larger than its hatchback counterpart. Vauxhall today revealed the new model displaying a choice of two engines. The first in the line up is a 1.4 litre petrol and your diesel alternative carries 1.3 litres. The 1.4 sees 69 brake horse power where as the diesel delivers on 94bhp. The Corsa van has done some good sales previously in Britain and the company are looking for much of the same when the next generation goes on sale early this year.
Honda have announced their plans to aim their attention at plug in hybrid vehicles over the duration of the next three years. In a press conference held by Honda, they have stated that alongside their newly developed FCV, they will focus their attention on releasing two more alternative fuel cell vehicles along side the car. The Japanese car maker have brought in a lot of publicity thanks to the new NSX model or the Acura as it is known in other countries. Whilst we await the new hybrid and FCV models though Honda are also focusing their attention on developing new and improved VTEC engines which they have already began work on. There is no time-scale revealed as of yet to when we can expect to see the engines come fitted to Honda vehicles or what cars will receive the new fittings.
