Late into the course of next year, French firm Peugeot will introduce the world to their brand new 308 GTI model which has recently had some performance figures and rates revealed by Peugeot which reveals that from its launch in 2015, the new car is set to make history for the firm. With the rates revealed, the new 308 GTI will officially become the most powerful car that Peugeot has ever put into production and on sale. Power being developed from the same 1.6 litre, turbo charged engine found in the RCZ R will come in at 270bhp. In the quest to increase power on the 308, the brand have also revealed some new secrets regarding the design process of the vehicle which will see new air intakes added and a re vamped exhaust system too. As standard across a range of Peugeot made cars, the 308 GTI is offered with only a six speed, manual transmission but will run on a four wheel drive platform.

Hyundai to make another impact in 2015

It has been a huge year for Hyundai that has seen them grow more popular than ever before. It all began with a new digital showroom which is the first of its kind, then they were one of the first manufacturers to make deliveries to customers with their ix35 Fuel cell vehicle which runs on hydrogen. The firm recently announced that early on into next year they will offer their popular i40 in a revised manner and news has recently broken that the firm are to do the exact same with their i30 model from next year too. Changes brought forward to the car will include new styling designs, a new turbo variant of the car and an automatic transmission. Looking into the changes found outside of the car, the Korean auto maker have included a new look front grille, brand new paint jobs and a new finish to their alloy wheel designs much in the same way that the i40 will. A seven speed, automatic gearbox will now also find a place in the car.

The big news though is the additions of new engine choices with the powerful turbo engine now being up for grabs. The trim will receive a 1.6 litre engine which will come completely turbocharged. 183 units of brake horse power have also been included with the car. The suspension system of the car will receive some slight adjustments compared to other units on offer but the seven speed transmission is not used here just the the standard six speed manual on this occasion. Cruise control, a dual zone climate control system, a seven inch sat nav and a six speaker stereo system are just some of the favourable highlights to be found inside the revised motor. Sales of the revised model will begin early on into the new year with prices to be revealed closer to the time.
