The
Suzuki iV-4 is a concept that will preview at the Frankfurt Motor Show in in September and is a Nissan Juke rivalling Crossover model.
Suzuki will be unveiling the concept at the motor show, with the planned release date for the model being 2015.
The
Suzuki company have said that the iV-4 model gets certain design features of the Suzuki SUV's, like the claim shell shaped hood on the vehicle and the front grille that is divided into five. Teaser shots can be found on the internet and a quick look at them reveals a look that has obviously taken inspiration from the Suzuki Grand Vitara and Jimny SUVs.
A second profile shot that can be found shows that the model boasts a rather similar shape to the huge selling Evoque model from Range Rover, featuring a raked rear windscreen and a rising waistline.
The new
Suzuki model will rival such models as the Renault Captur and the Peugeot 2008, it is also expected to be based on a shorter version of the platform that is used on the SX4 S-Cross. This means that two and four wheel drive versions of the model will be available, along with the SX4's 1.6 litre petrol and diesel engines.
Suzuki are also working on a replacement for the Alto and Splash models for Summer 2014, along with a small MPV model for 2016.
