The New York Motor Show – Gap Insurance 123

The New York Motor Show – Gap Insurance 123

As promised last week, we at Gap Insurance 123 have taken a look at all of the new developments and concepts that will be on show at the New York Motor Show. Last week we informed you on the latest Range Rover developments and the plans to release the new Range Rover at the New York Motor Show.

As you may have seen the images of the new and upcoming models have lived up to the expectations with Range Rover in particular having James Bond himself unveil the new Range Rover Sport after the actor Daniel Craig turned up with the new model. As well as the Range Rover Sport there were a number of new and exciting models on show with one of them being the new Kia Sportage.

The Kia Sportage turned up at the show with a Wonder Woman paint job to attract all the attention it desired and it worked. It has been known that the Kia models have turned up with a superhero inspired paint job at the past 4 motor shows and many in the industry were excited to see what paintwork the Sportage would turn up in.

At previous shows we have seen the exciting developments of the Nissan Juke and the Qashqai and this time round was a much larger SUV model. The new Nissan Pathfinder will be powered by a 3.5 litre V6 engine that will be combined with a hybrid feature. The idea for Nissan is to eventually achieve a line up that has absolutely no emissions. Another model on show was the new Infiniti QX60 Hybrid which will share its power train with the Nissan Pathfinder.

The all new Rolls Royce Wraith was also on show at the New York Motor Show and was certainly a model that attracted attention. The electric blue paintwork along with the cream central body work paint seemed to catch the eye of everyone who walked by. The idea of the paintwork was to illustrate the idea of menace in the new Rolls Royce models as the boss explained the new direction the firm was going in.

We will review a number of models in tomorrows article as we will place close attention on the debut of the Volkswagen Golf in the US along with the BMW tourer and the all new Mercedes CLA45 AMG.
