The Motorcycle news report for 29-01-2015

The very first motorcycle to be produced under the partnership between BMW Motorrad and TVS has been seen testing on the road. The bike was spotted undisguised on the streets of Germany and it is believed that the bike will carry a 300cc engine if not more. BMW have not made any official announcements regarding the future of this vehicle or when it will go on sale but judging by the pictures we have seen of the two wheeler, it looks like it could be very soon. The new bike which has been given the codename of the K03 is expected to be a top challenger on the 300cc market and the bike has been seen using Michelin tyres and alloy wheels aswell other special features. Unfortunately for now, power rates and speeds are not known neither is a time scale for when the bike will go on sale but we do expect to hear more before the end of this year.

Yamaha reveal their brand new Moto GP entries

It is that time of the year where Moto GP race companies begin to reveal their brand new motorcycles to the world. The next company in line this time around is Yamaha. They are one of the most celebrated racing teams in the whole of the championship with two former world champions in the form of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo racing for them. This year will be no different and both of the Japanese race teams models were revealed yesterday afternoon with Lorenzo and Rossi on hand too. Much like last year, the Yamaha team is once again sponsored by 'Monster Energy' and the bikes are available in both Blue and White paint jobs. Both riders will get their first chance on the new models next week when they begin pre season testing with the 2015 Moto GP world championship getting underway from the 29th of March.

Suzuki Recursion not a go as of yet

There has been some speculation recently regarding the future of a concept motorcycle from Suzuki called the Recursion. Reports have recently suggested that the new motorbike has been given the green light for production but Suzuki have denied this news by stating that the bike will not make the production line just yet. The Recursion is a new 1000cc motorcycle from the firm which has been designed in hopes of making the model lighter and more agile than previous 1000cc motorcycles from the brand. It is uncertain right now as to whether the same features of the Recursion will be carried over to future models but it is definitely a strong possibility. The brand are in no rush to get this motorcycle on the road as of yet as they are set to release a new V Strom model this year aswell as new GSXR additions onto the road.
