Mercedes Benz are set to launch their all new CLA Shooting Brake model onto the roads in March of this year and today the company have officially announced the pricing structure to come along with the brand new vehicle. The company have announced that prices will kick off from 29,809 Euros which converts to around £22,990 here in the UK. The Euro price tag has been confirmed for their home country of Germany so with it being in Europe we would expect the conversion to rest the same here in Britain. Both petrol and diesel engine ranges will be made available for the CLA Shooting Brake when it goes on sale with different engine units and power outputs being offered dependent on which trim level you decide to spend your money on. Both AMG and Urban trim levels will be offered from launch with a set of eighteen inch alloys, sports seating and twin chrome exhaust system being three of the big highlights from the Urban variety. The AMG range boasts equipment such as a multi functioning steering wheel, sports seating and eighteen inch alloy wheels. The highest price that the car will be sold for works out at £44,075 from the Euro conversion for a top of the range CLA Shooting Brake boasting 355 brake horse power.
Mercedes are in the midst of producing an all new S Class 'Pullman' model which is ideally a stretched version of the S Class much similar to a limousine. The news has today been announced that the German brand will reveal the car within the next number of months to come along with a cost of around £225,000. Although engine and specifications are not yet confirmed, it is to be expected that the car will feature a V12 engine. The manager of the S Class project Martin Hulder commented on the vehicle by saying “I can confirm you will see this car in the first half of this year”. No news has as of yet been revealed regarding a launch time for the car.
Mercedes have announced that a new convertible version of their latest S Class model is all set to go and will go on sale from later this year. The vehicle has been spotted previously undergoing tests but the confirmation of its arrival has only just been announced. Mercedes are expected to add more room inside of the vehicle than the current S Class but any more information is yet to be announced. The Audi A3 Quattro convertible is another model launched this year which could be placed high up as a potential rival for Mercedes convertible.
