Kia have finally lifted the lid off of their brand new GT Line Ceed model. The vehicle was first announced a number of weeks ago and was confirmed to be on show from the Geneva Motor Show. Well the big reveal has finally happened and we have our best look at the brand new model to date. Kia have proven to be masters of their craft when it comes to designing the perfect city car/sports vehicle and they have done their job perfectly once again with this brand new addition. Along with the new GT Line will also come along bodywork changes, interior changes and some adjustments made to the engine also. The very first Ceed model first went on sale back in 2006 with its successor following in 2012. The Ceed is the best selling Kia model in Europe thanks to some generous equipment, a smooth driving experience and a five star Euro NCAP safety rating that it was awarded. So how will these GT Line updates help to add excitement and more popularity to the popular range?.
So regarding the new changes that have been made to the bodywork design of the vehicle, we see that the company have added some new components which include the likes of back bumpers which have grown in size,LED daytime running lights,a new dual exhaust system and you can also find new seventeen inch alloy wheels carrying a brand new design. The changes also occur inside of the car too with a newly fitted leather steering wheel which catches the eye. The pedals of the vehicle are also now made from aluminium. The interior cabin now also comes in White and Grey. As we said earlier, the engine of the vehicle also finds an update which means that now a newly developed one litre engine can also be found underneath the bonnet. Overall fuel economy and emissions were taken into consideration when developing this vehicle. 118 brake horse power has been confirmed as a power deliverance for the new model. The transmission of the car also sees a nice update which means that with GT Line models you can now expect to find an automatic, seven speed DCT setup. We also know that these two new features will also be inserted into some future Kia models set to launch in the future.
Kia have brought us the news that this brand new model will be available in showrooms from near the end of this year with an exact date and price tag still yet to be confirmed. So what do you think of the new model?. Is it something you are thinking of making a purchase on?. Let us know your thoughts.
