The All New BMW 5 Series Estate
A number of leaked images have appeared online in the past several days of the new BMW 5 Series. The New BMW 5 Series has been officially announced to be released at the up coming Frankfurt motor show. The model is BMW's response to the all new Mercedes Benz E Class Estate and the face lifted 5 Series will look to compete with the high selling rival.
The images online display a 5 Series estate with a slightly camouflaged front and rear bumper along with a badge less model. The current 5 Series model has been on the market since 2009 and the new model is thought to have gone under the knife as it where. The slightly tweaked and update BMW 5 Series model displays several cosmetic changes with the most noticeable being the more narrow front grille on the model. There will also be new headlight clusters along with new LED tail lights.
The interior design and set up of the model will remain fairly unchanged although you cannot tell through the photographs online. The engine choice for the new BMW model will remain the same with both the petrol and diesel engined models carrying over along with some minor updates.
The New 5 Series model is thought to be priced in the region of £33,000 and will go on sale in spring 2014 in order to rival the Mercedes model. BMW along with Audi are consistently in competition with the Mercedes brand and the rivalry has now seen it develop into other car markets such as the US. Both BMW and Mercedes announced a change in the market share leader this year, as the US Car market boomed for one reason or another the German market looked to decline compared to the recent years performances. The rise in both the value and the popularity of the German brands has been there for all to see in recent years and it is bound to continue to rise.
