Tesla Model S evolution-Audi funding-UPS and Mercedes partnership

According to sources within the motor industry, Audi are all set to receive new funding in the form of twenty four billion Euros. The funding will be used for Audi to develop new models for the road and new advancements in their current range for the future. Audi have recently opened up a new factory in Mexico and some of the funding is expected to go to the plant as they look set to produce the new Q5 crossover model which will go on sale from 2016. A brand new Q7 e-tron model will also go on sale which we would also expect to receive some of the funding. The funding given to Audi is certainly a big deal for the company as they will look to challenge long term rivals including Mercedes and BMW throughout the course of this year but can it give them the upper hand on the ladder to the top spot in 2015?.

The evolution of the Tesla Model S

The Model S has certainly gained an excellent reputation for being one of the most brightest electric vehicles to ever be launched onto the road. From being launched in 2012, the Model S has proven to be one of the most sought after EV models that the auto industry has to offer which is a huge accomplishment considering the amount of competition from the likes of the BMW i3 that is currently on offer. We have seen the Model S go from strength to strength and some new developments have recently surfaced from Tesla regarding the future of the vehicle. The latest on the car comes from the Chinese market which states that the vehicle will be a part of part exchange programs in the used car market across three regions of China. One of the biggest countries for the sales of the Model S is America and there has been demand for the car now spreading globally. One of the reasons for the shortage on sales for the EV here in the UK is down to the lack of charging stations around the country but that could be all set to change as the Government previously announced a new scheme which would see more charging stations located around most areas of England. So would the Model S over here be a good investment for you and would you consider purchasing one of these models?.

UPS to use Mercedes Benz Sprinters

UPS are one of the worlds most popular parcel delivery companies. They are most recognised in the United States but have now became popular in the United Kingdom too. In future though you will be able to recognise them not just by their logo but from the logo of Mercedes Benz also. The company have now made the decision to choose the popular Sprinter range from Mercedes as their new delivery van providers. The Sprinter is one of the largest vans on offer and features 127 bhp provided by a Bluetec engine. This means that Mercedes have remained under partnership with UPS as the new Sprinter van will replace the previous Vario model also provided by Mercedes.
