Renault announce new trim levels for both the Clio and Twingo

Both the Clio and Twingo are two of the most popular choices for customers who decide to spend their money on Renault vehicles. Today the French brand behind the cars have decided that they will not be offering more value for money as far as both vehicles are concerned. The brand have announced that they are now to offer a new trim level with both cars with the Twingo now receiving the Dynamique S trim and the Clio getting the GT Line setup. Both interior and exterior receive some new added pieces of kit and there are now new colour options also available with both vehicles.

Changes brought with the Twingo Dynamique S

So looking now into the changes that come along with the new Twingo trim level. This change affects the version of the car carrying the Tce 90 turbo charged petrol engine. A Black and Red design scheme for the exterior of the car is included although another options for customers to choose comes in White. The alloy wheels for the trim will also be diamond cut and will span sixteen inches. We think its the inside of the car that has the true potential though and is outlined by Red and Black leather inside of the car, a leather steering wheel and cruise control. Safety technology has also been added in the form of a lane departure warning system. Prices for the Twingo Dynamique S begin from £12,545.

The Renault Clio GT Line

Now the final trim level to be thrown into the mix comes to us for the popular Clio model and much like the Twingo, carries some new technology, interior and exterior finishes. Thanks to this trim, the Clio can now be chosen with either sixteen or seventeen inch GT alloy wheels. Only the 0.9 litre, petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engines can take advantage of this trim level which also sees revised GT bumpers,LED daytime running lights and a parking camera can also be chosen but is only available as an optional extra. Inside of the car, one of the main noticeable feature is the amount of chrome trimming that has been included for the cabin which spans all around the centre dashboard and the air conditioning vents. Some Matt Black dashboard inserts have also been made. We think that the changes made outside of the Clio is where the potential rests for this GT Line trim. For this particular model it will cost you £400 to upgrade on top of the standard purchase price meaning the petrol version will set you back £17,395.
