New Mitsubishi dealership,Renault's new SUV and the Maserati Alfieri


Mitsubishi have been asserting themselves as a recognised contender on the car market over the years. They have made the news over the past number of months for their charity work and new dealerships opening up. In some more news of a similar nature today, the Freeborn group have officially opened up their very first Mitsubishi dealership which will be located in Winchester and will combine with the showroom that they already have there for both Citroen cars and vans. The dealership has recently undergone some big changes which will see a rise on the increase of staff needed for the showroom. Opportunities in the dealership will open up for a brand new sales manager,car valeters, technicians and general team members. Freeborn have over thirty five years experience with car dealerships and have a number of them located around the country. Mitsubishi Managing Director Lance Bradley has commented on this new opening, he is quoted as saying “Having been operating for thirty five years,Freeborn is well renowned in the South of England and were delighted to have it on board. It's joining Mitsubishi at an exciting time. 2014 has been a fantastic year as we celebrated forty years presence in the UK market and we are confident, next year will be an even bigger success”.

 

Renault designing a new SUV

It is expected that in Geneva Switzerland next year, French car maker Renault are going to a reveal brand new SUV addition to the world which could prove to be the main source of competitiveness for the Nissan Qashqai. Recently however, the car has been spotted undergoing tests whilst under some heavy camouflage. The car will receive some similar features to that of the Renault Captur and we believe that the vehicle which is yet to receive a name, will run on the 'Common Module Family' platform. A total of fourteen Renault vehicles will receive this platform it has been revealed. With a Geneva auto show debut planned, it is expected that the companies new SUV model will be available to drive away from showrooms in around a years time.

 

Maserati confirm a 2016 launch for the Alfieri

Luxury sports car brand Maserati are celebrating their one hundred birthday this week and have celebrated yesterday by revealing some new studio pictures of their concept vehicle known as the Alfieri. Information regarding the specifications of the vehicle where somewhat slim with the only thing we know is the expectations that a V6 and V8 twin turbocharged engine range will come along with the car. This time yesterday we did not know whether the vehicle would make production but now we do. The firm have followed up the images by stating today that the vehicle will indeed make into production and will arrive on our roads in just two years time. A V6 engine has now been confirmed for the car which will see power in both 444 and 513 bhp deliverances. A V8 has however been announced to not be a feature. A convertible variant of the car has also been confirmed and will go on sale shortly after the launch of the Alfieri.
