The Lexus brand have issued a recall on close to 10,000 vehicles in Britain alone. Lexus are are a firm owned by the Toyota brand and are now the next in line to issue a recall after Toyota themselves amongst other brands. The issue behind the recall has been stated to be a fault with the fuel delivery pipe and a vast number of Lexus models will be affected by the recall. If the problem is not resolved, the firm have stated that a fuel leak from the vehicles affected could be the ending result. Some of the companies more recent vehicles are affected by the recall too including the popular IS and GS additions. The fault on these models was came across during the brands worldwide field report quality check.
There is quite a long list of vehicles that are affected by this recall from the brand and it affects the vehicles that were produced between January of 2005 and the September of 2010. There are nine vehicle ranges from the Japanese organisation that are affected which include the IS 250, LS 460,LS 600hL,LS600h,GS 450h,GS 460, GS 300, IS F and the IS F 250C. Although the issue does need resolving if you own one of these luxurious vehicles, the firm have stated that drivers are still safe to drive their vehicle for now. The news of the 10,000 UK Lexus model recall comes just weeks after Toyota announced a total of three global recalls. Other companies such as Vauxhall with the Adam and the Ford brand with 850,000 recalls for faulty airbags have also been affected in the past number of months.
