Ford Mustang recall,BMW 2 series Active Tourer to receive seven seats,BMW R1200R

It has been a big news day today for German car maker BMW, earlier this morning they announced that beginning from next year they are to introduce a plug in hybrid variant of every range of car that they currently offer and will do in the future. Amongst that list was the additions of active tourer models and this specific range has proven to be a popular news breaker for the firm today. This afternoon the company have also declared that from starting next year, they will offer their active touring model in the form of a seven seater MPV model. The 2 series Active Tourer is the exact model that will receive this change. This will declare the car only the second seven seated vehicle that BMW will have on sale with the popular X5 being the first. All of the engines currently found in the 2 series Active Tourer will be carried over to the car and although a cost has not yet been set in stone by the German auto maker, we do believe that an added £2,000 or thereabouts will come added on to a standard 2 series Active Tourer. With that being said, you can expect to see the car go on sale for around the £24,000 area.

The second recall for the 2015 Ford Mustang

The Ford Mustang for 2015 went on sale in the United States just a number of months ago with the car set to make history by introduced to the UK next year for the first time ever in its long and prestigious history. This week though, the Mustang in the US has made even more history by issuing its second recall to date with the first issued earlier in the year over faulty seatbelt buckles. The first recall affected just fifty three units of the car but now the second recall affects a considerably larger amount of 728 models. The fault this time around is due to a potential fuel line leak. If you own a Mustang in the US then the chances are your car may be affected by this recall. Models made from the 25th of September to the 9th of October are affected. Does this put the UK on par for some good sales with the Mustang next year ?. We believe that these recalls a small compared to some Ford recalls in the past. So what are your opinions on these recalls?. Let us know via Facebook and Twitter.

BMW announce prices for the new R1200R

Next year will bring to us the arrival of a brand new motorcycle addition from BMW Motorrad. This is the same company that this week revealed that they have achieved record numbers of motorbike sales over the course of the past year. Next year they are all set to launch their brand new R1200R model and today the firm have officially confirmed the price tag that is to come along with this brand new, two wheeled machine. A purchase price of £10,250 has been confirmed for the bike and considering the amount of features to come along with the bike, we do believe that this is good value for money. Three formats of the bike will be offered and all three will feature different paint schemes. An 1170cc boxer engine has been confirmed to come along with the bike. The R1200R has also been confirmed by the brand to go on sale from the 7th of February 2015.
