Are you ready for a new Volkswagen Tiguan?

Well we hope so because images have been put on display for the whole world to see via the internet which reveals that the German company are working on a brand new model which is to be badged as a 2016 model and will carry some new detailing and changes compared to that of the current Tiguan model on the road. Great news is aswell that if you are looking for a larger family designed vehicle, Volkswagen are going to be offering the new car in both five and seven seater variations of course measuring longer in length. The new car is definitely going to be carrying some new features on the outside as has been demonstrated by the camouflage disguise seen in the newly revealed pictures. We can also expect to find some new engines underneath the bonnet also.

What changes to the Tiguan can we look forward to?

So in regards to these changes that have been made for the new 2016 model, engine wise no news has been confirmed but the high expectation at this moment in time is that we can expect to find both turbocharged petrol and diesel engines with power given out of anywhere between 120 brake horse power ranging upwards to 300bhp which will come along with the more performance based version of the car the 'R'. The brands popular MQB driving platform will also be featuring with the brand new addition to the range.

Volkswagen are doing a great job in keeping the new changes very secretive but we would expect to see the car once again before its grand reveal where we could very well know more further down the line. The brand new Tiguan will have some fierce competition in its sights though which includes the Qashqai from Nissan and the likes of the RAV4 produced by Toyota aswell as many many more vehicles in the same segment.

When will the next Tiguan be debuted?

No clear date has been given from the brand behind the car as of yet as to when we will see the next Tiguan receive its grand debut. It could be expected though that the car may go on display this September from the Frankfurt Motor Show. After which an on sale date next year will occur. The new Tiguan will join the ever growing line up of crossovers being launched and Volkswagen are expected to pull out all the stops with this new model to bring it to the top of its division.
