The Triumph Tiger Explorer XC the perfect BMW rival ?

The inclusion of new motorbikes of all ranges onto the new markets over the years has been nothing short of remarkable. We have seen many variations this year alone from the likes of Japanese company Honda amongst others make it big. Today though we cast our attention to the world of touring motorbikes available on the market and to be more precise we take a look at the Tiger Explorer XC model from British motorbike firm Triumph. Touring motorcycles normally make their mark with the German company BMW. Triumph though have released this particular model in the hope that it could very well go on to prove to be some tough competition going up against the German company. It benefits from the looks and power side of things that we can expect from Triumph. So lets take a look into this specific model and see exactly what it has on offer ?.

What features make their way to the Triumph Tiger Explorer XC ?

Well firstly we set our line of sight to the overall performance side of things for this model and what it is that helps this bike stand out and make an impact. We see that Triumph have included a 1215cc engine that comes completely liquid cooled and also benefits from a wet multi plate clutch and and a six speed transmission system as standard. A lightweight smooth riding experience is what we think the Tiger Explorer delivers on also. We see that the British firm have included a cast aluminium swing arm and as far as those bumpy road surfaces go, we see that Triumph combat this with the inclusion of a mono-shock suspension system. Overall we see that the Tiger Explorer puts out a total power output of 137 brake horse power and it also develops a total of 121NM of Torque.

As far as the look and design of this motorbike is concerned, we also see that this particular model comes made available in a choice of three separate paint schemes. The first coming in Crystal White, the second Graphite and third and finally Green.
