The triumph Thunderbird and an everlasting legacy

The Thunderbird is one of the Triumph companies biggest selling motorbikes of all time. It has gone on to do fantastic sales for the manufacturer over the years and is very well one of the smoothest and finest motorbikes to own. Of course this model will not be for everyone. If you're a fan of sports style bikes such as the GSXR from Suzuki or the Ninja from Kawasaki then this motorbike will not be for you. The Thunderbird is a cruiser motorbike which benefits from a lot of comfort and a lot of extra power. It has had many different variations over the years and has always been one of the flagship bikes for the Triumph company. Today though we take a look into the latest variation of the machine that is available to purchase right now and some of it's additional features that could very well tempt you into becoming a proud owner of a Thunderbird.

What's special about the latest variant of Thunderbird ?

So what helps this bike out as one of the better additions to the range from the years and why could it prove to give the likes of the Harley Davidson brand a run for their money ?. Well firstly with the 2014 model, we see the use of a 1597cc liquid cooled engine which is also joined along side by a wet multi-plate clutch. An electronic fuel injection system and a six speed constant mesh transmission system also comes along with the brand new addition to the Thunderbird line up as standard. A tubular steel frame and a twin sided steel swingarm makes an entrance with the Thunderbird too. Another unique feature of the 2014 model is also the Showa suspension system that comes pre fitted also.

In regards to the design of the new Thunderbird model, we are pleased to let you know that this bike comes with three different paint schemes for you to choose from at the time of purchase. These consist of Red,Black and Blue.

How much will the Triumph Thunderbird 2014 set you back ?

For a brand new version of this motorbike, you can expect to hand over a grand sum of £11,249. This new Thunderbird addition is also available for purchase right now from your closest Triumph dealer.
