New Land Rover Discovery XXV
It is the firm favourites 25th birthday this year and Land Rover plan on celebrating the landmark with a new special edition model. The new special edition model will be labelled as being the Discovery XXV.
The new special edition model will be based on the top of the range Discovery HSE model. Land Rover will releasing the new model in the Causeway Grey colour and will feature the colour black along the trim of the model.
The Land Rover brand have made a large number of changes over the past 12 months or so, after announcing that the Freelander model will be joining the Discovery range and taking on the name of the baby Discovery.
The Jaguar Land Rover brand itself has been one of the pioneering brands in terms of marketing the models over the last two years. Within the last two years, the Jaguar models along with the Land Rover and Range Rover models have allowed the brand to extend the dealership networks in growing economies such as India and China.
British based rivals, Aston Martin, has criticised its own marketing methods and labelled Jaguar Land Rover as not only the brand to follow, but the brand to beat. Many manufacturers have joined the luxury SUV market as the demand continues to pour in.
Porsche have recently announced plans to further develop the brand in becoming a more luxury mass market manufacturer rather than a premium sports car maker. Audi along with Volkswagen have also ventured into the luxury SUV market along with the crossover market.
The new Land Rover Discovery model will be available in the UK for somewhere in the region of £63,000. Land Rover have issued a whole range of off road aids that will include hill descent control and a response terrain system.
